The Croatian language is a south Slavic language which has about 6,214,643 speakers. The Croatian language comprises of two dialects Cakavian and Kajkavian. The standard Croatian vowel system has five monophthongal vowels. Croatian language has a two way pitch accent in which when the syllable is stressed, it may have either a rising or a falling tone.
