Being a translator, I know it is quite hard to deal with factual errors. Your experience makes you learn how to deal with these issues however, most of the time you will end up depending upon the client for changes. Therefore, you should create urgency while contacting client so that you don’t miss the deadline and an error-free translation can be done.

Out of all the aspects you have mentioned, approaching clients is the most important ones. You need to be in-sync with the client so that translation can be carry the way he/she wants.
